Well I'll start off and introduce myself. I'm James and this is my Kirby vacuum cleaner collection.

From a very young age I loved vacuum cleaners and from the age of about 10 my family had a Kirby demonstration of the Kirby Legend II. From that moment the magic of the Kirby sparked my love for the Kirby vacuum cleaner and the Kirby company.

 

About the age of 14 I got my first Kirby, a Heritage II that is still in my collection to this day. Within a few years I had made contact with my local Kirby service centre and made friends with the local factory distributor Ken Yeomans who took me under his wing and helped show me how to repair, service and restore my Kirbys.

I became friends with another local factory distributor Nick Steeples in the next city. Both Ken and Nick helped with my understanding of Kirby and helped grow my collection, to which I'm grateful for their help and guidance.

Thanks guys! Both of whom are happily retired now.

It was at Ken's service centre at that young age where I decided I was going to put my energy in to collecting Kirbys after I saw the then current Kirby Generation After Generation poster on Ken's wall all neatly lined up in date order. 

 

The current factory distributor is Ti Emm, yet another friendly helpful guy, who continues to help grow the collection.  Onwards and upwards!
